When to Run a Coverage Comparison
Coverage Comparison gives you a structured, high-level view of what changed between policy years. Changes are organized by coverage section (e.g., Commercial Property, Crime & Fidelity) and flagged with color coding so you can quickly spot increases, decreases, or new coverages. At the top of the comparison, Polis surfaces a set of Comparison Flags, a summarized list of the most notable changes, like premium increases, new coverages added at renewal, or significant deductible shifts.
Use Coverage Comparison when you need a clean, scannable overview of the renewal, for example when preparing for a renewal conversation or doing a quick gut-check on what changed.
