Ask a Policy Question

How do I ask a question about a specific policy, quote, or binder?

What it does Lets you ask any open-ended question about a policy, quote, or binder and get a direct answer, grounded in the actual document, so you don't need to search through pages of policy language yourself.

What you get A direct answer to your question, with citations back to the specific policy language it came from. This is an internal tool, not a client-facing document.

When to use it Use this any time you have a specific question and don't want to dig through a policy manually, for example: "Does this policy cover water backup?", "What's the deductible for wind damage?", "Is there a coinsurance clause?"

Steps

  1. Upload or select the document in Polis.

  2. Type your question in plain language into the Q&A box.

  3. Polis returns a direct answer, citing the exact section of the policy it's based on.

  4. Ask follow-up questions as needed. Polis keeps the document in context.
